3) Get Pre-Approved

Knowing exactly what you can comfortably afford when purchasing a new home is a very important step in the home buying process. Once you get your Pre-Approval Letter, you’ll be well on your way to living in your ideal home.

4) Ideal Lot Selection

We spend a great deal of time searching databases and visiting all communities and areas of Las Cruces to identify what we consider to be the absolute best lots relative to their price. Read More

5) Architectural Design Deposit

Although GL Green’s custom design services are free to our clients, we do require a $1,000 non-refundable deposit that will be applied to the purchase of your new custom home.

Once we receive a copy of your Pre-Approval Letter and an Architectural Design Deposit, we can move forward to the next step.

6) Custom Floor Plan Design

We offer a variety of architectural styles including our Award-Winning Idyllic Tuscan Villa architectural stye, as well as Southwestern Pueblo, Spanish Villa, Contemporary, Mediterranean, and others.

Taking your selected lot and given budget into consideration, we work with you and your personal preferences to custom design the perfect floor plan.

7) Custom Home Proposal

Once we finalize your custom floor plan we provide you with a custom home proposal that includes a minimum starting construction price as well as an itemized “a la cart” menu of options and selections you can pick and choose from to customize your home to meet your specific preferences and price point.

11) Construction Phase

Before construction begins, you will be given a username and password to login-in to a project management software application that will allow you to stay up-to-date with the construction of your new home.

View photos and progress, request and approve or decline change orders conveniently via the world wide web. Also enjoy regularly scheduled site visits when you can walk the construction site with your Project Manager.

9) Purchase Agreement

Once you have selected the options and selections that are most important to you, we update our custom home proposal and generate a purchase agreement.

By signing the construction note with us, we need no additional deposit to move forward with the construction of your new home.

10) Pre-Construction Phase

You can sit back and relax, and really begin to prepare to live in your ideal home.

During this phase of our process we prepare detailed construction drawings, pull a permit, and secure our construction financing, as our Project Managers plan and schedule the construction phase of your new home.
